CIRCA 18THC. BEAUTIFUL VALENCIENNE LACE BORDER. The finest linen flax thread has been used on this ethereal long border of French Valencienne lace. Measuring approx. 87" by almost 2 1/2". Photographs can never capture lace as light as this, this is a lace that needs to be seen, touched.. to really understand the skill of the lacemaker . In very good strong condition, the lace has it's original cream patina.
