CIRCA 1900. FINE LADIES IRISH CROCHET COAT. This is quite a pretty Irish Crochet lace coat! There are different types of Irish Crochet lace, the combination of tecqniques is very nice. The edges of the coat and sleeves have a more dense design, with florals and leaves and there are also insertions of the design in the main part of the coat. There are lovely hand made bobbles around the edges. Measuring approx. 44-45" laid flat across chest 9" across each side panel, 15" to 15" shoulder to shoulder, approx. 6 1/27" across armhole. In very good condition, the coat does not seem to have been worn much and was stored very well. This is a very wearable Irish Coat.

A wonderful example from the late 1800-s 1900 Belle Epoque era all-in-one lawn gown. This is quite a lavish piece, made with fine linen lawn with masses of Pint Tucking and copious amounts of frothy Valencienne lace. A truly elegant example of the period dating from late Victorian to Edwardian, Belle Epoque era. There are tiny buttons at the back. A superb example of ladies undress from that period. Measuring approx.57" long, approx. 16"  across chest and 12" across waist laid flat. In very good condition, this item has been laundered. A nice item for the period dress collector or to wear.

CIRCA 1910-1920,OPULENT LADIES NET DRESS W/RAISED SATIN STITCH EMBROIDERY. A beautiful example of these lovely net lace dresses that were so popular during the early 1900's. This dress has the most lavish design, there are large raised satin stitch whitework embroidery throughout the dress with insertions of Filet lace. This dress stands out because ether is so much more embroidery. The dress I think could even be worn either way. There is a small opening at top with a small button at the back...what I like best is of course the level of workmanship and design but also that there are fine net ruched flounces at the back and sides which would have given the lady of the times much more ability to dance etc. Excellent in design and workmanship.A few minor openings but mainly there is so much work here, that I consider the dress in very good strong condition. A beautiful dress to wear or for the collector.

The combination of laces, satin stitch embroidery and Valencienne lace make this gown a true gem. if I had to give it a score..it would most definitely hit the number 10 button... so a dress that is really rarely found. It must have been a wonderful sight to see the lady during the times to appear with this dress. for it is quite a opulent dress in every sense. A beautiful item for the collector or to wear.

RARE BELLE EPOQUE ERA LADIES LAWN ENSEMBLE W/DOUBLE BUSTLE. A rare and beautiful ensemble with a puffed double bustle . The bodice and skirt are made with wonderful gossamer lawn and Valencienne lace. The front of the skirt is quite beautiful with masses of ruched ruffles and there is a long train at the back of the skirt.The bodice has whitework embroidery and Valencienne lace. The ensemble has a superb ethereal and elegant design.A couple of small mends on busy part of train, otherwise in very good strong condition.
