CIRCA 1940's, LUMINOUS LADIES SILK PEIGNOIR W/ALENCON LACE. This is such a glorious example ! The luminous tapered  silk satin gown has a wide border of shaped Alencon lace and the most wonderful silk covered buttons down the front of the gown.  Measuring approx.17" across chest, approx.14" across chest line,and 17-18" across hipline.  It measures approx. 55-56" down the front and much longer at the back.All measurements approximate! This gown seems as if it was never worn..or if worn, only rarely. There are some tiny scattered pinpoint spots near the bottom, perhaps a few very very light water marks and some creasing in the silk.Overall it presents itself beautifully and as said seems really as if it was never used so I assume any problems were from storage. The gown is quite exquisite and would grace any very good collection of vintage lingerie.It is quite simply... beautiful!

A wonderful example from the late 1800-s 1900 Belle Epoque era all-in-one lawn gown. This is quite a lavish piece, made with fine linen lawn with masses of Pint Tucking and copious amounts of frothy Valencienne lace. A truly elegant example of the period dating from late Victorian to Edwardian, Belle Epoque era. There are tiny buttons at the back. A superb example of ladies undress from that period. Measuring approx.57" long, approx. 16"  across chest and 12" across waist laid flat. In very good condition, this item has been laundered. A nice item for the period dress collector or to wear.

VICTORIAN,EDWARDIAN LADIES PETTICOAT W/VALENCIENNE LACE. Quite a frothy and beautiful example of ladies underdress in the Victoriand or Edwardian era. This lovely fine linen petticoat has three full layers around the edge  with a area for ribbon insertion if desired. Measuring approx. 35" long, 24" around waist but it is draw string so can be made smaller or larger. What I especially think is lovely is the pretty wide Valencinene lace  and the fullness  the three layers as it is quite voluminous.  Once a ribbon is inserted through, it will look quite wonderful.In good strong condition.
