CIRCA 19THC. BRUSSELS LACE TABLE RUNNER W/POINT DE GAZE FLOWERS. This is such a beautiful runner.I like th unusual shape and of course the design and quality of lace work are superb. The roses have raised three dimensional petals and the there is a Droschel ground. There is a abundance of scrollwork, undulating leaves and florals throughout the lovely lace. Measuring approx. 30" by 16" at the widest part. The lawn is quite sublime and translucent as befits a beautiful item like this. This item comes from the collection of one of the best linen and lace collectors I have ever known. In excellent unused condition.
