CIRCA 17-18THC.MILANESE LACE WITH BIRDS. A interesting piece from a early lace collection. The design seems to symbolize the "Tree of Life" with mirror image birds facing the tree.Measuring approx. almost 10" by 5 1/4".The lace has it's original cream patina,.In mainly good strong condition, a few spots and a few small minor openings.the lace has not been laundered. It is always nice to find these early pieces of lace with animals.
