CIRCA 1800's,FINE BURANO LACE W/ POMEGRANATES. A a wonderful Burano lace.. excellent both in design and workmanship. This must have come from a larger piece at some point. A wonderful lace for the collector or it can perhaps be used in some way.There is a wide "V' at the center, folded over and measured from there,one part measures approx. 31" the other 24". The lace is 10" wide at the widest part which is the "V", there is a small additional area on one edge.The design has promagranates ? flowers and undulating vines throughout the lace. A very beautiful piece. In good strong condition, a few small minor storage stains near edge. The lace has it's original patina and seems unused.
