CIRCA 19THC.EXQUISITE 172" OTTOMAN SILK PANEL W/METALLIC EMBROIDERY. A luminous cream silk panel measuring approx. 172" by 37-38" wide. This seems ot be late 19THC., the panel seems unused and was possibly made for a robe or gown.the entire panel is lined with a type of organdy. The design and workmanship is absolutely superb.. pictures do not capture the level of work as this panel is so much more beautiful. This is quite a majestic panel, an amazing amount of workmanship went into this embroidery and the beauty and skill is a testament to the embroiderer.This seems unused, good condition.
