CIRCA 1890-1900, BEAUTIFUL POINT DE PARIS PLACEMATS W/NEEDLE LACE. We have two of these beautiful sets..one set has twelve pieces , the other eight pieces. We will sell together in a customer desires as it is difficult to find twenty antique placemats. The placemats are really quite beautiful. The work is exceptionally fine, the quality and fine light thread is lovely.The design is wonderful with large decorative florals with tiny fillings and meandering vines and leaves.In all a beautiful set... really excellent workmanship and design. Measuring approx.10". In good strong condition the items seem rarely used or perhaps unused.the set has been laundered.
