CIRCA 17THC. ELABORATE VENETIAN GROS POINT LACE. A stunning design and the finest workmanship on this beautiful Venetian Gros Point border. Measuring approx. 22" by 4" wide. The raised work throughout the lace is quite beautiful and has three dimensional work. The lace has the deep scallops that were in fashion at the time.There is one finished edge. This lace came from the wonderful Grande Maison De Blanc early lace collection. In good strong condition, a few openings,minor.The lace has it's original patina.
