CIRCA 19THC. ELEGANT BRUSSELS LACE BORDER. This is such a beautiful lace. A elegant design with large florals in shaped ovals throughout the border. Some of the ground seems to be Droschel. There are interesting grounds and fillings on this lace. Measuring approx. 57 " by 5" wide. The design is so very elegant and the workmanship is superb.The lace has a gentle original cream patina. In very good strong condition, one flower has a few tiny age spots, minor. The thread on this border is very fine.
