CIRCA 1800's, RARE 172" MILANESE TABLECLOTH W/EARLY LACES
Circa 1800's, a rare long Italian Milanese tablecloth measuring approx. 172" by 58-60" wide. Please note .. the the difference in colors are due to the lighting. This is a cloth that needs work. Throughout the tablecloth there are assorted lace from the 1600-1700's to 1800's. tablecloths like this were usually made from the collections of lace that perhaps were in the family for generations. I have more pictures that I can send if desired. It would take someone very skilled to bring this back to it's original beauty and so my thoughts are that either someone skilled has the patience to restore or there are so many laces in the cloth that can be removed and saved.We are offering this cloth at a lower price as we would rather someone restore if possible.. of if not, use the lace for study etc.
