CIRCA 19THC.LUMINOUS SILK CHRISTENING GOWN W/LACE AND RIBBONS.Circa late 19THC, a luminous silk voluminous christening gown with wide border of pretty insertion laces and ruffles on the edges with tiny silk ribbons and bows. The bodice and sleeves are also quite lavish with lace, deep ruffles and ribbons .There is a inner slip which is probably from a later date but works well by adding even more volume to the gown. In good condition. Quite delightful in every respect!Really quite beautiful for baby or large doll.
