CIRCA 1800's, SUMPTUOUS LADIES FINE GOWN W/VALENCIENNE LACE,RIBBONS. Absolutely SUPERB in every way! The fine lawn linen is wonderful, ethereal and luminous .linen like this would only have been used in the most expensive boudoir gowns . There are lovely lush puffed collar and sleeves with masses of Valencienne lace around the collar and on the edge of sleeves with pink ribbons around the neckline, sleeves and around the waist. There are tiny Mother of Pearl buttons on one side of the gown. It is quite rare to find a perfect gown like this and this one is a absolute gem.I have been told that this could be much earlier
