CIRCA 19THC. AMAZING 192", 487cm BORDER OF BINCHE LACE. A rare unused border of Binche lace measuring approx. 192 " by 2 1/2" wide, 487.68 cm by 6.35 cm. Interesting joyful lace with little cartouche designs that are quite quirky. The lace has a amazing amount of tiny detailed work. It is hard to believe that someone could do such detailed work, the tread is extremely fine. Unused and part of a museum deaccession of lace with a original label,"Made in Belgium" The lace has it's original patina and is in good condition. A wonderful piece for the collector.
