CIRCA 1800,WOMAN'S EMBROIDERED WHITE MUSLIN GOWN PANEL.A early gossamer muslin front skirt panel divided in two by Valencienne insertion,embroidered in stem stitch and knotting in white,with floral borders and large Boteh motifs at the hem with select areas of drawn and pulled work.Indian export embroidery;Circa 1800. Measuring apprx. 40 x41in. (101.6x104.14).In very good strong condition.,one L shaped1 1/2x1/3/4 repair that seems to have been down at a earlier time,one small floret with drawnwork needs a couple of stitches to attach,minor and a few scattered spots.
