ORNAMENTAL NEEDLEPOINT SHAM,PELMET W/FIGURALS,BIRDS,ETC.A Needlepoint panel measuring 54" by 22" wide. The panel has three shaped scalloped edges and so was probably used as a bed or curtain pelmet or quite possibly pillow shams. A central winged figural lady is surrounded by birds, meandering oak leaves and vines with hunters or guards in period costume. There are animals and ornate scrollwork in the main panel.The wide scalloped edges have decorative wreaths,animals, fish and Heraldic insignia.In good condition,a couple of light age stains from storage,minor.
