The gown hasThis lovely gown was sold almost twenty-five years ago at Sotheby's.The catalogue listed two gowns purported to be by Paquin. Similar to gowns also created by Callot Soeurs and other designers of this era, the fact that the two gowns were purported to be by Paquin leads me to believe that this gown was made by the designer. A auction house like Sotheby's rarely even mentions "purported" in listings unless they are almost certain that even without label this would have been attributed to Paquin. A few minor openings in lace,otherwise very good condition.(Item #ALC15)
