STUNNING 19THC.BRUSSELS LACE FLOUNCE W/TULIPS,ROSES. Circa 1860's, a exquisite flounce of Brussels Needlepoint and Bobbin lace! The designer would have been a master in the lace trade and probably worked for one of the very best lace firms in Brussels. The design of large bows, swags, tulips, gorgeous roses hydrangeas, lilies, meandering vines, leaves and scrollwork are quite magnificent. This came from a estate that included a Worth dress and actually had a similar piece that had a US Customs In Bond metal tag that was needed when it was imported from Belgium.  Measuring apprx.183" by 21" wide.. 464.8cm by 53.3cm. Glorious and stunning..both in workmanship and design.(AL212)
