CIRCA 1900, LOVELY ROYAL SOCIETY POLYCHROME EMBROIDERED TABLECLOTH W/NAPKINS. A wonderful linen "Royal Society" tablecloth with superb workmanship and an excellent design. The silk embroidery is quite amazing, the polychrome colors on the florals , vines and leave are quite luminous.The tablecloth measures approx. 60".There are eleven matching napkins. If we find the 12th ,we of course would include..but for now, in this listing there are only eleven. The large florals are quite outstanding and are enhanced by not only the silks but also the gold and silver metallic embroidery that weaves it's way through all the designs.This listing came form a superb estate, the collector had such an eye for beauty..that it was apparent in every items she collected. The item has never been used and so in its original state, good strong condition.There is hand made Drawnwork all around the tablecloth and the napkins.
