EXQUISITE 90" ROUND CANTU LACE TABLECLOTH W/FIGURES IN CLASSICAL DRESS. A beautiful Italian round lace cloth measuring approx. 90'.. It is quite rare to find these wonderful large round cloths. This one is exceptionally beautiful because the lace is quite deep. The large oval medallions have lovely ladies dressed in classical dress. Many of the French and italian linens celebrated the Rites of Spring and also Harvest time. In very good strong condition, there are some scattered small openigs but overall minor compared to the very strong condition. The linen has a very good strong weight and so overall the opens are really not that visible.. I was told that some of these linens came originally from the "Fox' estate . Some of the very best linens over the last 25 years of selling came from this amazing Hollywood collector. Every linen was lavish.. being scions of the movie industry in those days. I am not surprised that linens like this came into their collection.
