CIRCA 1900, RARE LACE PANEL W/POSEIDON , CHERUBS. Excellent work on this panel or placemat .The design is rare and quite unusual , the design depicts Poseidon with his Triton on some type of shell chariot with horses? . The large clouds above have cherubim and a fish? blowing down on Poseidon. One imagines stirring up the wind, waters etc. Measuring proxy.18" by 12". The lace is in good condition and seems unused.
