CIRCA 1890-1900, BELLE EPOQUE ERA LADIES VALENCIENNE LACE SHAWL. A lovely large shawl with long lappets from the Edwardian era. Measuring approx. 105" end to end, approx. 9" at widest part. There are not many of this type of shawl that were made, they rarely come up for sale. They were quite grand and ladies wore them over their dresses and some of the heavier ones over their coats.In very good strong condition, a few small repairs, minor as they blend in.So very good and strong condition.A pretty item, great to wear or for display on period costume.
