EXQUISITE AND RARE BURANO LACE COLLAR W/ORIGINAL "JESURUM "LABEL. One of my favorite pieces from this wonderful lace collection we purchased . The beautiful 19THC. Burano lace bertha collar not only has the most wonderful design but the workmanship is truly excellent. The receipt is such a find.. from "M. Jesurum and C', Venice" and was sold through their shop in Paris or Venice. It has it's original lace stamp and the price paid by the collector in 1920 was 2,500.00. The large flower heads are so beautiful and the fillings throughout in the florals ,leaves and vines are quite wonderful. The lace has it's original cream patina and is in very good strong condition, a few minor tiny openings. This is a superb offering as it is extremely rare find lace with it's original receipt.A superb item for the serious collector.
