ORNATE 19THC. BRUSSELS POINT DE GAZE LACE BORDER. The design and workmanship are superb on this Brussels lace. There are large roses with three dimensional raised petals, scrollwork, floral swags and Point De Esprit scattered throughout the lace. This was cut from a larger piece so it measures approx. 22" along the top, 35" along the bottom and has a width of 9". The lace has it's original cream patina. There are a few small openings ,minor, otherwise in good strong condition. A lovely item ot frame or use in some way.
