CIRCA 19THC. EXQUISITE BRUSSELS POINT DE GAZE LACE FLOUNCE. This beautiful flounce of Brussels Point De Gaze measures approx. 105" by 9" wide. Centimeters measurement is 226.7 cm by 22.86cm. The design is quite extravagant, there are beautiful heirloom roses with raised three dimensional petals ,masses of scrollwork and tiny needle lace fillings . At the top pf the flounce there are meandering vines, florals and leaves with scattered Point de Esprit throughout the lace.This lace has never been used and has it's original tag. The lace has it's original cream patina and is in very good unused condition.
