CIRCA 1600's, EARLY RARE FLEMISH LACE W/MYTHOLOGICAL EAGLE. A very early Flemish lace with a eagle at the center and a mirror image design of florals in the lace. At first I thought it might have been a two headed eagle design!! It is possible but perhaps I am seeing things!! A rare piece measuring approx.almost 12" by almost 7" wide. A few loose brides, a age spot at the top, minor. The lace is in very good strong condition. This lace comes form the Grande Maison De Blanc collection.
