CIRCA 1770's, LOVELY MECHLIN LACE BORDER. The thread has a gossamer feel to it, there is light very fine linen flax thread on this lovely Mechlin lace border. Measuring approx.30" by almost 2 1/2" wide.The design has pretty floral and leaf swags and the lace has a gentle scalloped edge. A few small minor age spots, otherwise in very good strong condition, the lace also has it's original cream patina.
