EXQUISITE EARLY RETICELLA TABLECLOTH W/VASES ,FLOWERS,BIRDS. A RARE beautiful tablecloth with a amazing design and superior workmanship. I fell in love with this piece as soon as I saw it. The central various Reticella designs are surrounded by raised satin stitch whitework embroidery with urns filled with florals and wonderful birds above and around the ring that encloses the central Needlepoint Reticella designs.. There are further elaborate floral wreaths in each corner and finishing off with a wide border of various Reticella lace.Around the entire tablecloth there are superb various deep scallops. There is provenance to this piece.
