CIRCA 1880-1900, SUPERB LADIES LAWN ENSEMBLE W/VALENCIENNE LACE.I love this ensemble!One can only imagine how wonderful the lady looked who wore this wonderful summer promenade lawn bodice and skirt.It is quite stunning in every respect.This Edwardian era ensemble consists of a bodice ,skirt and large sash. The blouson bodice is so graceful, with Valencienne lace insertion, large frothy collar and triangular shaped sleeves.The skirt has pin tucking and insertions of Valenciennes lace and has great volume and a wonderful wide and trained skirt at the back. There are a few tiny openings, absolutely minor.The ensemble is in very good condition. This of course would be quite beautiful on a mannequin as a display or of course worn.
