EXCEPTIONAL, RARE GROS POINT PLACEMAT SET W/CLASSICAL FIGURES. A RARE set of Ventain Gros point placemats and central large table center. I do not think I have ever seen a set like this . Both in design and workmanship the set is quite amazing. The design has large classical figures in the table center which measures approx. 32" and has meandering scrollwork and shaped vignettes contains the figures. The shaped placemats measure approx.17" by 8 1/2"" at widest part and have oval vignettes with classical needle lace figures. In good condition. the set seems unused.This is quite a rare design.
