CIRCA 19THC. BEAUTIFUL BRUSSELS LACE SKIRT WITH POINT DE GAZE ROSES

CIRCA 19THC. BEAUTIFUL BRUSSELS LACE SKIRT WITH POINT DE GAZE ROSES.This is such a beautiful skirt, ethereal and quite magical. The design and workmanship are superb with large florals, meandering vines and leaves and with lovely scattered Point de Esprit throughout the skirt. All along the the bottom part of the scalloped skirt there are beautiful large scale three dimensional heirloom roses with intricate tiny superb fillings. Measuring approx. 27" around waist. This of course can be made smaller by moving the hooks  closer to your waist size. The skirt measures approx.44-45" long. There is a inner cream lining that has a 8" Brussels lace flounce so as to add fullness to the bottom of the skirt.. The circumference is approx. more than 130" around. It is difficult to  measure so perhaps even more.It is very full. There are other Point de Gaze roses in the skirt and also most of the bobbin flowers have  needle lace fillings  at the center of the flowers. there are a few spots at the bottom of the gown, totally minor. The skirt is in excellent condition.
