CIRCA 1900, RARE BELLE EPOQUE NET CURTAINS WITH RED EMBROIDERY

CIRCA 1900, RARE BELLE EPOQUE NET CURTAINS W/RED EMBROIDERY. Quite a mazing pair of curtains from the Belle Ã©poque era. Measuring approx.160 inches long for each curtain panel by approx. 56-58 inches wide for each panel. We have only showed one curtain in the pictures as it gives a more detailed idea of the design. The design has grand  scrollwork with undulating ornate vines and florals. There is raised chenille work on the flowers and deep red embroidery throughout the curtain. These were never used or hemmed at the top .The last pair  of curtains that I had that are similar to these was approx. 40 years ago.The curtains are extremely rare and actually have come from a collection of lace that was accumulated by a designer who made wedding dresses for prominent department stores in Texas. Unused and in great condition, the net is strong and the workmanship is excellent.
