CIRCA 1880-1900's,OPULANT MILANESE PANEL/BEDSPREAD W/FIGURES,FLORAL BASKETS. A lovely large handmade Bobbin and Needle lace Milanese bedspread or panel with ornate scrollwork and a central large needle lace vignette with a lady . There are eight large oval and round vignettes with pretty needle lace baskets with flowers and ribbons in the design. There is also a wide band of needle lace surrounding the outer part of the panel that connects the vignettes in the design. Measuring apprx. 103-105 " by 72" wide.This item would also make a wonderful wall panel if lined with silk at the back. In very good strong condition, seems unused.
