LOVELY ITALIAN LINEN BANQUET TABLECLOTH W/NEEDLELACE,FILET LACE,EMBROIDERY. The finest linen has been used on this highly embellished Italian banquet tablecloth measuring apprx.137 by 68 inches .The Filet lace has very light threads and has cherubs, classical figures throughout the design with wonderful meandering scrollwork and large shaped urns overflowing with florals The shaped vignettes contain needle lace figures, cherubs amidst a pastoral scene with raised satin stitch whitework embroidery and fine cutwork throughout the design. In very good strong condition, there is one small dot repair on Filet,absolutely minor, this cloth seems almost unused.The quality of linen, the light thread used for the filet and all needle and embroidery on this cloth is of the highest order.(Item #ALT116)
