CIRCA 18THC EXCEPTIONAL LADIES LINEN BONED CORSET/STAYS. A superb ladies linen boned corset .This item came from a long time collector's deaccession in New England and is quite amazing in every respect.The contrast between the cream thread, ribbons and darker fabric are very effective. Measuring apprx. 24"inner waist measurement,11 inches down the front where the ribbons are. The ribbons might be original,I am not sure but they seem to be.The corset is in quite amazing condition,there is some slight wear and some age related stains on inner lining but overall so very minor.The shoulder straps are missing their lacings or ribbons and the lacings at the back are missing too.A wonderful item for serious collector or museum.
