CIRCA 1900's.LOVELY CREAM SILK CANTON EMBROIDERED SHAWL. A lovely cream silk Canton shawl measuring apprx.52" with almost 20" Macrame silk fringe. A wide design in four corners, urns,overflowing with flowers,vines,leaves and birds. In very good strong condition, a few scattered spots need cleaning. The shawl is part of a deaccession form a New York historical society.This has a good weight, a medium as opposed to light. Good quality design and workmanship.(Item #)
