CIRCA 19THC.RARE CHILD'S LAWN BODICE AND PETTICOAT. It is very rare to fine a early bustle petticoat with longer train at back and matching bodice. Made of extremely fine linen with hand smocked bodice and tiny handmade lace edging both on bodice and edge of the skirt. Part of a wonderful collection that came from a museum deaccession.In very good condition,one tiny pinhole. .There is a small script 'D" embroidered at the bottom of the petticoat and a tiny label with matching "D" design on the back of the bodice. The bodice has has pretty etched tiny Mother Of Pearl buttons.(Item #ACC186)
