CIRCA 1890-1900,FINE BEDSPREAD W/RETICELLA,WHITEWORK AND FILET LACE. A lovely fine lawn bedspread with Reticella in the center, Filet lace and whitework. The lawn is entirely covered with tiny sprigs of florets . Quite stunning on the bed, airy,light and the bedspread has a ethereal quality . Measuring apprx. 100" by 76-77" at widest part with 11" ruffle on each side.In mainly very good strong condition, but there are some scattered pinhole openings in spotted lawn and one small repair and stain. My opinion on this piece is that the majority is good and strong but there is the one narrow panel with scattered openings and also the outer and inner central area has some openings. So work needed.. or just use as is because the piece is mainly very strong and will last.It has such a beautiful design that of course it could also be easily used for cushions etc.There is a lot here to use if desired but think it is good enough to be used and enjoyed for many years once some work is done.
