SUPERB NEEDLEPOINT LACE CURTAINS W/URNS,MYTHOLOGICAL ANIMALS,BRUSSELS LACE.A stunning and RARE pair of shaped curtains that possibly came from the lace school in Burano or the Aemilia Ars lace school. The work is quite amazing and the design speaks for itself. There are varied large shaped urns with intricate designs,Reticella and Filet lace and lovely borders of Needlepoint with raised three dimensional work with Brussels lace flounces along the edges with florals, wreaths and and large intricate urns overflowing with florals.There is scattered Point De Esprit and lovely flower swags that connect the designs.There are numerous vignettes filled with floral and mythological animals.In very good condition, a few storage marks and a couple of tiny openings,minor.
