CIRCA late 1700's-early 1800's WHITEWORK HANDKERCHIEF.A early fine lawn handkerchief with exceptional embroidery.the end of 1700's-early part of 1800's,clothing and accessories were extremely refined and elegant.The handkerchief is made with the lightest linen flax thread. Measuring apprx. 22".The handkerchief is good and strong, there are some repairs that were done in the time..one knows this because of the exceptional workmanship.A superb handkerchief! (Item #ALW7)
