The finest and softest silk has been used on this rare bedspread.Part of a estate that only had the most amazing lace pieces, dating from the 16Th-19THC. The bedspread has large embroidered raised silk satin roses with undulating leaf designs and has flounces of the very best in Brussels Point De Gaze accentuating the embroidered designs. It is so rare to find bedspreads like this, as you had to certainly be part of royalty or so wealthy to commission a Brussels lace cover for your bed.In almost forty years of selling lace items,I have only had four bedspreads that used Point De Gaze in the design.The bedspread seems unused, a few minor tiny marks from storage, absolutely minor.
