CIRCA 1940's, LUMINOUS LADIES SILK PEIGNOIR W/ALENCON LACE. This is such a glorious example ! The luminous tapered  silk satin gown has a wide border of shaped Alencon lace and the most wonderful silk covered buttons down the front of the gown.  Measuring approx.17" across chest, approx.14" across chest line,and 17-18" across hipline.  It measures approx. 55-56" down the front and much longer at the back.All measurements approximate! This gown seems as if it was never worn..or if worn, only rarely. There are some tiny scattered pinpoint spots near the bottom, perhaps a few very very light water marks and some creasing in the silk.Overall it presents itself beautifully and as said seems really as if it was never used so I assume any problems were from storage. The gown is quite exquisite and would grace any very good collection of vintage lingerie.It is quite simply... beautiful!

CIRCA 1900. FINE LADIES IRISH CROCHET COAT. This is quite a pretty Irish Crochet lace coat! There are different types of Irish Crochet lace, the combination of tecqniques is very nice. The edges of the coat and sleeves have a more dense design, with florals and leaves and there are also insertions of the design in the main part of the coat. There are lovely hand made bobbles around the edges. Measuring approx. 44-45" laid flat across chest 9" across each side panel, 15" to 15" shoulder to shoulder, approx. 6 1/27" across armhole. In very good condition, the coat does not seem to have been worn much and was stored very well. This is a very wearable Irish Coat.

The color sparkles... radiates because of the sequins.There are a few  large floral designs on the dress that are worked with beads on this ethereal dress. In very good strong condition. Tabard dresses are so much easier to wear, add a silk slip underneath , the dress basically shines because of the unusual rare color of the sequins

CIRCA 1920, BEAUTIFUL ASSUIT, "TULLE BI TELLI " SHAWL W/FIGURALS. A impressive large Asset shawl measuring approx.83" long by approx. 43-44" wide.A heavy shawl with a lovely design of central large geometrics in the cents and then very elaborate wide borders containing figures and houses. The shawl came from a good estate, and seems hardly worn, there are threes small openings and a very small bit of tarnish..I consider minor as the shawl is in overall very good condition . The edges sometimes had a little more net and hammered silver added at the bottom . A lovely shawl!
